Data Deletion Instructions

Cnct gives you full control over the data we store. You can remove your data in any of the three ways below.
Option A — Disconnect Instagram (immediate)
- Log in to Cnct.
- Go to Instagram Accounts.
- Click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove.
This immediately deletes the stored access token for that account, and the automations tied to it stop running. This happens right away — no waiting period.
Option B — Delete your entire account
The fastest way is right inside the app:
- Log in to Cnct and open Settings.
- Under Delete account, enter your password and confirm.
This immediately and permanently deletes your account and everything tied to it:
- Your user profile (email, hashed password, name)
- All connected Instagram account records and access tokens
- All automations you created
- All response logs and webhook events tied to your account
- All tracked links and their click history

from the address on your account with the subject line Delete my account, and we'll
complete deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner) and email you a confirmation
when it's done. Billing records are retained only as long as required by tax and accounting law.
Option C — Revoke access from Instagram
- Open Instagram and go to Settings → Apps and Websites (Website permissions).
- Remove Cnct from the list of authorized apps.
This revokes our access on Meta's side. To also remove the copies stored in Cnct, follow Option A or Option B.
A Note on Payments & Instagram
Our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, retains transaction records under its own retention policy — see the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy. Actions already performed on Instagram (comment replies and DMs that were sent) remain on Instagram and are governed by Instagram's own data policies. You can review that data with Instagram's Access Tool.
